What is cheapest decent photo studio out there?
We want to take our 2009 family portrait, but procrastinated till the last minute, and now we are on a tight budget after christmas expenses. Still, we want to take a family picture. In the past, we used the photo studio at JC Penney and it was good for the price we paid. What about Walmart, are they too bad? I assume this is the cheapest studio around here, but I’m not familiar with the quality or the knowledge of the staff. Any advice?
Right now I’m asking a low fee for portraits ($40). I only started this because my time was being taken advantage of by family and friends. I give 20-30 images on a high res disc. I’m sure if you try Craigslist (or ask around) You Can find someone starting out with a reasonable fee as well. Make sure you get a written contract and discuss the terms before giving any money or having your pictures taken.
WalMart and JCPenney are good, but they aren’t personal, and I think you’d have better luck with an individual. I paid well over $100 for a couple of crappy pictures of my daughter by a fake tree, wish I’d have been into photography back then!
